ensure that it is in operational condition. This
check should include, but not be limited to the
following:

1. Sheet Metal/appearance/paint
2. Electrical
Battery Level•
Battery Secure•
Terminals Tight/clean•
3. Engine
Oil Level•
Coolant Level•
Coolant Protection (-25°f)•
Air Filter•
Fuel Filter•
4. Lubrication
All Fittings Greased (See Lubrication Chart)•
5. Hydraulic System
Hydraulic Oil Level•
Any Leaks•
Hoses Properly Fastened•
6. Conveyor Belt
Damaged Or Torn•
Splice Clips Secure (Replace If Missing)•
Belt Cleaners Adjusted•
7. Screen
Screen Cloth Properly Tensioned•
8. General
Operator’s Manual On Unit•
Decals In Place & Readable•
Safety Guards In Place•
9. Hydraulic Filters
Hydraulic lter Element•
Charge Pressure Filter•
Important
This pre-operational check should be performed
any time the plant is moved to a new site, or
after not being operated for an extended period.
