UnplugallpowercablesbeforeinstallingtheCPU.
• EnsurethatyouinstallthecorrectCPUdesignedfortheLGA1200socketonly.DO
NOTinstallaCPUdesignedforLGA1150,LGA1151,LGA1155andLGA1156sockets
ontheLGA1200socket.
• Uponpurchaseofthemotherboard,ensurethatthePnPcapisonthesocketand
thesocketcontactsarenotbent.ContactyourretailerimmediatelyifthePnPcap
ismissing,orifyouseeanydamagetothePnPcap/socketcontacts/motherboard
components.
• Keepthecapafterinstallingthemotherboard.ASUSwillprocessReturnMerchandise
Authorization(RMA)requestsonlyifthemotherboardcomeswiththecaponthe
LGA1200socket.
• Theproductwarrantydoesnotcoverdamagetothesocketcontactsresultingfrom
incorrectCPUinstallation/removal,ormisplacement/loss/incorrectremovalofthePnP
cap.
• TheCPUtsinonlyonecorrectorientation.DONOTforcetheCPUintothesocketto
preventbendingtheconnectorsonthesocketanddamagingtheCPU.

heatsink and fan if necessary.
