12. Power connectors
These Power connectors allow you to connect your motherboard to a power supply.
Thepowersupplyplugsaredesignedtotinonlyoneorientation,ndtheproper
orientationandpushdownrmlyuntilthepowersupplyplugsarefullyinserted.
• Ensuretoconnectboth8‑pinpowerplugs.
• DuetotheCPUminimumpowerconsumptionrequirement,werecommendusinga
PSUwith850Worabove.
• Forafullyconguredsystem,werecommendthatyouuseapowersupplyunit
(PSU)thatcomplieswithATX12VSpecication2.0(orlaterversion)andprovidesa
minimumpowerof350W.
• WerecommendthatyouuseaPSUwithahigherpoweroutputwhenconguringa
systemwithmorepower‑consumingdevices.Thesystemmaybecomeunstableor
may not boot up if the power is inadequate.
• Ifyouwanttousetwohigh‑endPCIex16cards,useaPSUwith1000Wpoweror
abovetoensurethesystemstability.
