Prepare your
Modem
Power on your
Router
Login and
Connect
Open a web browser.
You will be redirected
to the ASUS Setup Wizard. If not, navigate to
http://router.asus.com
Login using ‘admin’
as both user name and
password. Follow the wizard to complete setup.
Then you’re connected! (For more help please
refer to the user manual).
Connect your
modem
to the
router with the
network cable
provided.
Power on your cable/
DSL modem.
Check your
cable/DSL
modem
LED lights
to
ensure the connection
is active.
If you are using DSL for internet, you will need your username/password from your Internet service provider (ISP) to
properly configure your router.
Unplug your cable/
DSL modem
.
If it
has a battery backup,
remove the battery.
Plug in the power
adapter and press
the power button
at the back of your
router.

Connect your PC
to the router via Wi-Fi or using an additional
network cable (not included).

We recommend changing your password for increased
security. Reboot the router after changing default settings.

Login and Configure Router

Access Router Setup

Open a web browser and navigate to http://router.asus.com.

Router Login and Setup Wizard

Login using 'admin' for username and password, then follow the wizard to complete setup.

Security Settings Recommendations

Change default passwords for increased security and reboot the router.
