Troubleshooting
Your
SM124
Monitor
has
been
designed
to provide
years
of
reliable
high
performance.
But
as
with
any
electrical
appliance,
at
times
things
can
go
wrong.
If
you
experience
problems
that
you think
may
be
serious,
the
best
course
is
to
take
your
monitor
to an
authorized
ATARI
Service
Center.
These
are
some
typical
monitor
problems,
and
the
steps
you
should
take
to
resolve
them:

Power
is
not
switched
on.

Power
cord
is
not
plugged
in
securely.
Check
the
outlet
connec-
tion.

Video
cable
is
not
attached
pro-
perly
to
your
computer.
Check
the
connection.
(4)
Brightness
control
is
turned
down
all
the
way.
Adjust
the
,
brightness.
(5)
Contrast
control
is
turned
down
all
the
way.
Adjust
the
contrast.
Display
is
faulty:
it
rolls
or
vibrates;
images
are
distorted;
images
appear
blurred.
Your
monitor
or
computer
needs
internal
repair
or
adjustment.

Service
Center.
Note:
This
unit
contains
no
user-serviceable
parts.
Always
refer
service

housing
of
