7. Mounting and Service
For your binding to function properly, and consequently for your own safety, proper maintenan-
ce and regular service are imperative even if your binding is of high technical quality.
:: We therefore recommend that you have your binding serviced by a qualified specialist dealer
as soon as the service symbol appears.
Transport:
:: Always remove the boot from the binding before transport.
:: The binding should always be protected by a transport box, a binding cover or a ski bag when
being transported on the car roof. Remove the binding protection after transport.
Storage:
:: Always remove the boot from the binding before putting your equipment into storage.
:: Store your skis in a dry room. This helps avoid the danger of corrosion and prevents the
binding from being covered with snow or ice or being penetrated by moisture. To protect the
mechanism, it is advisable to close the heel unit.
8. Warranty/Guarantee/Liability
:: ATOMIC gives a one-year guarantee to the original buyer (final consumer) of the ski binding
calculated from the date of purchase. Within the scope of this guarantee ATOMIC Austria
GmbH will either replace or repair the faulty product or parts thereof or provide a replacement.
:: Bindings must always be mounted by an authorised specialist dealer and adjusted to the
personal settings of the customer. The setting protocol must be given to the customer who
must keep it carefully. Claims for performance under the guarantee for faulty bindings or parts
thereof will only be accepted by ATOMIC Austria GmbH if the setting values with a standard
boot sole do not fall within the tolerances of the ISO standard (wear or dirt on the ski boot
can have a serious negative effect on the binding for example).
The flashing symbol indi-
cates that the binding
