Why is the dew point high in my ATS Dehumidifier?

  A high dew point in your ATS Dehumidifier can be caused by several factors. The inlet temperature may be above the design condition, so you should check the aftercooler or compressor. Water might be entering the desiccant bed; in this case, check the air/moisture separator and prefilter, and replace the desiccant if needed. The desiccant could also be contaminated by oil, so install a suitable prefilter and replace the desiccant if necessary. Finally, an insufficient purge rate could be the culprit, so check the muffler.

  If your ATS Dehumidifier isn't shifting towers, it could be due to several reasons. First, check the output voltage to the solenoid valve to ensure there is input power. Next, verify the input voltage to the solenoid valve, as the solenoid valve itself may be faulty. Lastly, the timing on the dryer might be off, so inspect the controller.

  An excessive pressure drop in your ATS Dehumidifier can occur due to an excessive flow rate, so check the flow rate. It can also happen if the inlet pressure is under the design condition, so verify the pressure source.
