Do you have a question about the AUDAC LUNA-F and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The AUDAC LUNA-F and LUNA-U are networked sound and control audio processors, part of the LUNA series, designed for audio distribution in medium-sized to large enterprise solutions. They offer highly flexible and scalable system solutions, with internal structures providing extensive signal processing capabilities through powerful DSPs (dual SHARC) combined with 32-bit ADC and DAC converters. The LUNA series is developed for indoor use only and should be placed on a stable base or mounted in a stable rack.

Function Description:

The LUNA-F and LUNA-U serve as audio matrix processors, offering comprehensive audio processing, routing, and control functionalities. They are designed to integrate into complex audio systems, supporting both analogue and networked audio protocols.

  • LUNA-F: Features 8 Mic/Line inputs, 8 flex channels that can be switched between 8 Mic/Line inputs or 8 Line outputs, and 8 Line level outputs. It supports 64x64 Dante™/AES67 I/O Channels, with primary and secondary Dante ports for redundant operation or split/switched modes. It is compatible with Dante™/AES67 devices.
  • LUNA-U: Includes 12 Mic/Line inputs and 8 Line level outputs. Optionally, it can be upgraded to 32 Dante™/AES67 I/O Channels with a single Ethernet port, allowing integration with Dante™/AES67 compatible audio devices. The ANM88 hardware extension card enables Dante™/AES67 functionality, providing 8x8 channels, expandable to 32x32 channels with the SL-NAC8 software extension.

Both models offer flexible DSP resources, including 32 mono or 16 stereo zones, with features like Automatic Gain Control (AGC), LP/HP filters, WaveTune™ (7-band full parametric equalizer), Antifeedback, Compressor/Limiter, and Delay. They also include an integrated event scheduler and support voice files (MP3 and WAV) from internal and external storage, triggerable by GPIO or Event Handler.
