6.4.2 Identification of high-voltage wiring
To avoid confusion, the connections for the high-voltage wires are
coded. The connectors have coloured rings and the correspond‐
ing connections on the hybrid battery unit - AX1- and the power
and control electronics for electric drive - JX1- have a coloured
dot. Connections on electric drive motor - V141- have “mechani‐
cal coding” (coding lugs).
It is important to observe this coding when joining up and screwing
in the high-voltage wires in order to avoid short circuits or damage
to the high-voltage wires.
