pertaining to
VT1
OOMKIII
version.
The information in the VT100 Owner's Manual applies to the
VT1
OOMKIII,
but with the following additional features and specification changes
for
the MKIII version:
Removable lEG power cord
Cooling fan
A
SAUSE input switch replaces the shorting links needed in ·the .XLR
connectors for
SE
operation in previous versions,
The VT100MKIII uses four 6H30 tubes, replacing the eight 6922 tubes
found in the
VT100 and VT100MKII. The output tube complement of
eight
6550 output tubes remains unchanged; Because
of
differing heater ·
currents, 6H30 tubes cannot be used in the VT100
or
VT100MKII,
nor
can
6922 tubes be used in the
VT1
OOMKIII.
A larger value line fuse (the value is stated on fhe chassis next to the
fuse post).
