Important
Switch off the power before connecting speakers and other equipment.
Speaker Cord Connections
Connect the Red wires to the Red (+) terminals and the Black wires to the Black (-) terminals.
Note:
Connecting speakers other than the speakers supplied with the unit, may damage the unit.
SYSTEM CONNECTIONS
Backup Battery
Before connecting the AC cord, first inserted "AAA" size batteries for backup.
This backup system retains the memories of the PRESET radio stations for up to a year.
Battery replacement
To check the battery condition, unplug the AC power cord from the wall outlet and plug it in again after a few
minutes. If the displayed timer is incorrect, replace the battery with a new one.
Caution
Be sure to install the battery before disconnecting the AC power cord.
When the unit is left unplugged for a long time, remove the battery to avoid undue battery discharge and
unit doomage from battery leakage.
Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix ALKALINE, standard (CARBON-ZINC) or rechargeable
(NICKEL-CADMIUM) batteries.
