• In order to achieve good transmission quality and noise canceling, as well as best possible comfort,
the headband should be adjusted to properly t your band. You can adjust the headband using the
snap-in locking mechanism.
• Connect the headphones via supplied audio cable to the sound source. If necessary, use the 6.3mm
jack adapter or the 3.5mm double jack adapter for the in-ight entertainment in an airplane.
• Adjust the volume at the headphones.
Active Noise Cancelling Function:
• To switch on the active noise canceling function and to attenuate ambient noise set the ON/OFF
switch to ON. The POWER indicator lights up.
Note: After you turn on the power of the headphones, you may hear a slight hiss. This is operating
sound of the noise canceling function, not a malfunction
• When the batteries are running low, the Noise Cancelling LED indicator will become dim.
• When the batteries are going at, the active noise canceling is switched o. However, the audio signal
continues to be transmitted.
• After operation, switch o the headphone to extend battery life.
BT on/o and pairing
• To power ON your headphones: Press and hold the Multifunction Button (MFB) for about 4 seconds
until the BT LED indicator light starts ashing green/red rapidly with an ascending sound.
• To power OFF your headphones: Press and hold the MFB for about 5 - 6 seconds until the BT LED indi-
cator light turns solid red with a descending sound
The headphone works with BT-enabled mobile phones. Prior to using and pairing your headphone for
the rst time, please check to make sure that your mobile phone is BT-enabled.
The pairing instructions for typical BT-enabled mobile phones are explained in “Pairing Your Head-
phone.” The headphone pairing procedure may vary depending on the settings of your mobile phone.
Please contact the manufacturer of your mobile phone or its agent for further information.
• Press and hold the MFB for about 4 seconds until the BT LED indicator ashes alternately between
green and red. Now the BNC40 will enter into pairing mode.
• Enable searching of nearby BT devices using the BT menu on your device.
• Once the “BNC-10” is found, you can now connect and pair. If your device prompts you for a password,
please use “0000” - For more details, please refer to your device’s owner manual.
• When pairing is successful, the BT LED indicator will ash green every 4 seconds. If pairing is unsuc-
cessful, please turn o the BNC40 headphones and repeat the pairing steps.
• After initial pairing is established, the headphones will automatically reconnect to the last paired de-
vice upon turning ON
