Automatic Preset Setup

In Radio Mode, touch and keep (for more than 2 ’ S)

the screen of “ APS ” range to active automatic stati-

on storage.The radio searches within the current fre-

quency band, e.g. FM1, for the stron- ger signal level

until the search cycle has nished . The six strongest

stations are then allocated to the corresponding

storage locations.

Then the station of the rst storage location is set.

Scan function

In Radio mode, briey touch the “APS” section on

the touch screen , the radio briey plays all the pre-

set stations of the frequency band.

RDS Function

Touch “RDS“ on the setting menu to select the ad-

justment item, touch the LEFT/RIGHT ICONS to ad-

just the selected item.

Adjustable items

REGION Set the REGION function on/o.

if you are in an area where two program identications (PI) overlap, you can select the option

PI SOUND and PI MUTE for playback of the sound. Alternate switching of the program iden-

tication should be avoided.

Traic Announcement (on/o)

When the TA function is switched on, media playback will be interrupted as any traic an-

nouncement via FM is received. (the word TRAFFIC appears in the display).

=alternative frequencies (on/o)

The radio searches in the background for the best frequency reception of the station that has

been tuned into and tunes to the found one, if necessary. Please note: If the AF symbol ashes

in the display, the AF function is selected but no RDS signal can be received at the moment .

PTY

(on/o)

Some FM stations also transmit information on the type of program. This information can be

displayed by your car radio. Touch PTY to switch the function on/o.
