Why is my AURICA Hearing Aid whistling?

  If your AURICA Hearing Aid is whistling, it might be because the earmold isn't sitting tightly in your ear canal. Try taking it out and reinserting it. Also, check the tubing for any damage. If the whistling continues or the tubing needs replacement, or if ear wax has built up in the ear tubing, contact a specialist. If the earmold is deformed or your ear canal shape has changed, you will need to contact a specialist to get a new earmold.

  If your AURICA Hearing Aid isn't working, check the following: Ensure the battery is correctly inserted in the battery compartment and that the compartment lid is completely closed. Make sure the battery isn’t dead. Verify that the earmold tubing isn’t dirty and clean it if necessary. Also, check the tube for ear wax and condensate, clean it if needed. If there is condensate or moisture in your hearing instrument, put it in a special container with a drying tablet.
