Overview

This document describes the AURLANE CAB265 shower cabin, a reversible shower enclosure with dimensions of 90x115x218cm. It includes details on installation, usage, maintenance, and technical specifications.

Function Description

The AURLANE CAB265 shower cabin is designed for personal hygiene and offers a range of integrated electronic functions for an enhanced showering experience. These functions are controlled via a touch-sensitive panel.

  • Power ON/OFF: The main power button turns the control panel on and off. When turned on, the ambient temperature is displayed. When turned off, a 60-second countdown initiates, during which the fan operates and the steam generator drains automatically before all functions power down.
  • Hammam (Steam Function): Activates the steam generator. The steam icon flashes, and steam is diffused after 3 minutes. The hammam function requires a continuous water supply. If there's a water supply issue, the steam icon stops flashing, and the generator ceases operation.
  • Temperature Setting: When the hammam is active, the temperature can be adjusted between 20°C and 60°C using "PLUS" and "MINUS" buttons. Holding these buttons for 3 seconds allows continuous adjustment. The set temperature is saved, and the steam generator stops when the cabin temperature reaches or exceeds the set value, restarting after 30 seconds. The default temperature is 45°C.
  • Timer/Clock Function: When the hammam is active, a timer can be set from 0 to 60 minutes in 2-minute increments. The default timer is 30 minutes. The steam generator stops when the timer reaches "00."
  • Ventilation Function: Activates and deactivates the integrated fan.
  • Light Function: Turns the ceiling lamp on and off.
  • Radio Function: Activates the radio. The radio icon illuminates, and the radio starts playing. Users can tune to FM87.5-108MHz stations using "PLUS" and "MINUS" buttons, or perform an automatic station search by holding a button for half a second.
  • Bluetooth Function: Allows connection to a mobile phone (device name "XWM01") for audio playback. A dedicated "PHONE" button is available for answering calls.
  • Volume Adjustment: Controls the audio volume for both radio and Bluetooth functions using "PLUS" and "MINUS" buttons. Holding these buttons for 3 seconds allows continuous volume adjustment.
  • Ozonator: When all functions (except the light) are off, the ozonator can be activated to disinfect the shower cabin's atmosphere. It emits a blue light and a slight "crackling" sound.
  • Safety/Alarm Function: An emergency stop button ("ALARM") is available. Pressing it causes the alarm icon to flash and sound, stopping the steam generator and activating the fan and light. The alarm can be turned off by pressing the main power button.
  • Hydromassage Jets: Provides a relaxing massage function.
  • Shower Head: Main overhead shower.
  • Hand Shower: Flexible shower for targeted use.
  • Essential Oils Diffuser: The steam diffuser contains an absorbent sponge that can be soaked with essential oils for aromatherapy during hammam sessions. Special hammam essential oils are recommended.

Usage Features

  • Reversible Installation: The shower cabin can be installed with the main panel on either the left or the right side, offering flexibility in bathroom layout.
  • Two-Person Assembly: Installation requires at least two people to safely handle and fix components.
  • Accessibility: The back of the shower cabin must remain accessible for maintenance or connection work.
  • Pre-Assembly Check: Certain components like nozzles or valves may be pre-assembled. It is crucial to check the tightening of all elements and perform a water test before final installation.
  • Essential Oil Application: Add a few drops of essential oil onto the provided sponge and place it in the designated compartment for aromatherapy.
  • Children and Reduced Mobility: Use by children (over 8 years old) or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities is permitted only under supervision and after receiving clear safety instructions. It is not to be used by persons with mobility, sensory, or mental disabilities unless supervised or instructed by responsible persons.
  • Hammam Precautions: Not recommended for children under 5, pregnant women, or individuals over 70 without medical advice. Maximum hammam temperature should not exceed 45°C. Avoid use after heavy meals or for more than 30 minutes. Individuals with heart conditions or hypertension should consult a doctor. Avoid placing feet near the steam outlet to prevent burns. Essential oils should be used cautiously, especially for children, pregnant/breastfeeding women, or those with chronic illnesses; avoid prolonged use and sun exposure after use.

Maintenance Features

  • Regular Cleaning: Clean the shower cabin regularly with a neutral pH detergent (multi-surface cleaner, dishwashing liquid) and a shower sponge to prevent bacterial infections. For stubborn dirt, use white alcohol vinegar diluted with water, then rinse with clear water. Regularly remove the drain cap to clear hair and soap residue.
  • Limescale Cleaning: Use a soft cloth with lemon juice and/or warm white alcohol vinegar, then rinse with clear water. A squeegee is recommended for shower doors and walls. Wiping the walls immediately after showering minimizes limescale buildup.
  • Prohibited Cleaners: Never use abrasive cleaners, acetone, chlorine (bleach), ammonia, or any other aggressive acid-based cleaners. These products can cause scratches and damage chrome elements.
  • Post-Installation Check: Before filling the cabin with water, ensure all connections are watertight and the water pressure is within the recommended range (2-4 bars).
  • Troubleshooting: The manual provides solutions for common electrical malfunctions (e.g., system not turning on, lights/fan not working, no steam, incorrect temperature display) and water leakage issues (e.g., from connection pipes, faucet, or outside the cabin). It also addresses problems with door adjustment and chrome element deterioration. For any other issues, contact the retailer.
