Why AusClimate AU1000DD Other unit is blowing out warm air?
    • R
      Ronnie CarrAug 14, 2025
The unit blows warm air because the air passes over a heating element inside as part of the dehumidification process. This is normal; a dehumidifier is not an air cooler.

What to do if my AusClimate AU1000DD unit is not drying quickly enough?
    • W
      wrighttaraAug 18, 2025
If your unit isn't drying quickly enough, it might have already reduced the humidity to 55-60%. Try setting the DRY MODE to ‘High’ to potentially lower the humidity further to 40-45%.

What to do if my AusClimate Other unit works, but reduces the relative humidity insufficiently?
    • C
      Crystal WhiteAug 21, 2025
If your unit isn't reducing humidity enough, it could be due to several factors: * The room might be too large for the unit's capacity. This dehumidifier is suitable for about a medium 3 or 4 bedroom house. Consider using a dehumidifier with a greater capacity, or ‘compressor’ dehumidifier. * Too many moisture sources like showers, washing, cooking, or un-flued gas heating can overload the unit. Consider using a different heat source to an un-flued gas heater. A dehumidifier with a greater capacity, or ‘compressor’ dehumidifier is recommended. * A blocked air filter can reduce airflow, affecting performance. Clean the air filter to resolve this.

Why is my AusClimate AU1000DD Other unit so noisy?
    • K
      Karen OrtegaAug 25, 2025
Your AusClimate dehumidifier might be noisy because the air filter is blocked or the unit is on an uneven surface. Try cleaning the filter and placing the unit on a flat surface. Note that a dehumidifier will also be noisier on wooden floors than carpet.

What to do if my AusClimate Other device does not dehumidify?
    • S
      Stephanie LopezAug 27, 2025
If your device isn't dehumidifying, consider these possibilities: * The water container might be full. Empty the water from the container. * The water bucket may not be correctly placed. Return the water bucket into the correct position. * The air filter could be clogged. Clean the air filter. * The room temperature might be too low. The machine does not dehumidify below 1°C. Note: at such low temperatures, the moisture in the room will be very low anyway. * The relative humidity in the room might be too low. The unit dries down to the target relative humidity, then goes into ‘fan only’ mode until the relative humidity goes above the set point again.

Why does the fan still run after I have turned the AusClimate Other unit off?
    • C
      Connor VillarrealSep 4, 2025
It's normal for the fan to continue running after the unit is turned off. This is because the fan is cooling the internal heater. The fan will run for about 2 minutes after you press the power button off. Wait for the fan to stop, then turn the unit off at the wall.

Why is there an odour coming from my AusClimate AU1000DD unit?
    • A
      Amanda ForbesSep 7, 2025
The odour from your unit is likely due to the zeolite desiccant material returning various household odours back into the room during the dehumidification process. This odour is not harmful to humans or pets, won't last long, and isn't a sign of a fault.

What does it mean when the “Check” LED is illuminated on my AusClimate AU1000DD?
    • J
      Jerry MckenzieSep 10, 2025
When the “Check” LED is illuminated, it indicates the unit may not be working properly. Clean the filter and let the unit stand for 20 minutes. Make sure the dehumidifier isn't near a hot radiator. If the problem continues, please contact the distributor.
