Thetford refrigerator (N4142)
The Thetford N4000 series of refrigerators are
designed to operate on the 12V system of your
motorhome.

Setting up your refrigerator
Ensure that the 230V electricity supply and gas
supply are connected and turned on. Push the on/o
button (1) and hold for one second. The light on the
on/o button turns blue and the last selected settings
will light up.
Selecting the energy source
Push the energy source button (2) several times until
the desired source is selected.
Energy sources
Automatically selects the desired source.
230V Mains: The refrigerator is equipped with
electronics to ensure optimal cooling performances
at all output voltages between 210V and 250V.
12V Battery: Operating on 12V is only eective
whilst the engine of the vehicle is running.
Gas: When using gas, make sure the gas bottle valve
is opened. When selecting gas, the flame should be
ignited within 30 seconds. If the system fails, restart
the refrigerator and select the gas source again. For
safety reasons, it is not possible to ignite the flames
within fifteen minutes after driving.
Selecting the energy source
Push the energy source button (2) several times
until the desired source is selected.
Selecting the cooling level
Push the cooling level button (3) (several times)
until the desired cooling level is selected.
Switching o the refrigerator
Push the on/o button (1) for two seconds. The
light on the on/o switch will go out and the
refrigerator will turn o.
