Why does my AUTOCHAIR Smart Lifter stop during lifting?

      Charles RobertsonAug 21, 2025
Your AUTOCHAIR Smart Lifter might stop during lifting for a couple of reasons. First, check whether the mobility device has become caught on the vehicle. Also, the Smart Lifter is protected by a fuse near the vehicle battery, which may blow if a load exceeding the Smart Lifter’s capacity is lifted.

Why is the actuator clicking in my AUTOCHAIR Lifting Systems?
    • K
      kbrownAug 28, 2025
The 200kg AUTOCHAIR Smart Lifter actuator uses a clutch for overload protection. If the clicking noise only happens at the top or bottom of the lift, it’s normal. However, if it occurs during the lift, the unit is likely overloaded. Also, check that the scooter or chair isn't caught against anything.
