Making Inquiries
An inquiry can provide detailed information on a single
entity, generalized information about all the entities in
the current selection set, or information about the
entire drawing. For instance, you can use an inquiry to
provide a list of symbols and the number of times each
appears in the current drawing. This feature might be
useful to count chairs in an office or to tally the
different sizes of bolts and the number of each size in a
machine part.
