Overview

The AUTOSEEKER AT-19 Wired GPS Tracker is a compact vehicle remote positioning device integrating GPS, GSM, and GPRS technologies. It is designed to provide real-time tracking and various alert functions for vehicles.

Function Description:

The primary function of the AT-19 tracker is to transmit its location coordinates. These coordinates can be sent to a user's cell phone via SMS, allowing the user to locate the tracker's position on Google Maps or other mapping software. Additionally, the tracker uploads these coordinates to a designated server via GPRS, enabling users to track the device's position through a mobile application or a website portal.

The device supports several alarm and monitoring features:

  • Daily Report: Configurable to send daily reports at a specified time.
  • Geo-fence: Allows users to set a virtual boundary. The tracker will send an alarm message and call the first pre-saved number if it enters or exits this boundary. While manual setup is possible via SMS, it is recommended to configure geo-fences through the app/website for better accuracy and multiple fence management. The default radius for a geo-fence is 500 meters.
  • Shake Alarm: Detects vibrations and sends an alert message to the first pre-saved number after a user-defined duration of continuous shaking (range: 0-120 seconds).
  • Over Speed Alarm: Notifies users if the vehicle exceeds a set speed limit (range: 0-999 KM/H). The tracker will call and send alarm messages to all three pre-saved numbers.
  • ACC Illegal Start Alarm: Triggers an alarm if the vehicle's ignition (ACC) is turned on illegally. This alarm sends SMS messages to all three pre-saved numbers and calls the first pre-saved number. This feature requires the ACC wire to be correctly connected.
  • Battery Low Voltage Alert: Sends a position message to the first pre-saved number when the tracker's backup battery runs low.
  • Fuel Cut-off: Allows remote activation or deactivation of the vehicle's fuel supply via SMS command, requiring a relay connection.
  • Power Off Alert: Sends a message to all three pre-saved numbers and calls the first pre-saved number if the tracker's main power is disconnected.
  • Voice Function: When enabled, the tracker will call and send a message to pre-saved numbers if an alarm is triggered. If disabled, it will only send a message.
  • Monitor Tracker: Allows a pre-saved number to call the tracker, which will then call back, enabling the user to listen to conversations in the vicinity of the device.
  • Phone Tracking: By calling the tracker from any mobile phone, the device will ring, hang up, and then return its current position to the caller. If GPS is inactive, it will send an invalid message and then a position update once GPS becomes active.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • GSM Module: MTK program, supporting GSM 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies.
  • GPS Chipset: U-BLOX 7020, supporting GPS/Glonass/Galileo/Compass.
  • GPS Sensitivity: -162dB.
  • Start Times: Hot Start (1 second average), Warm Start (30 second average), Cold Start (35 second average).
  • Altitude Limit: 18,000 meters maximum.
  • Operating Temperature: -20°C to 65°C.
  • Humidity: 5% to 95% Non-condensing.
  • Dimensions: 750 mm x 250 mm x 150 mm.
  • Voltage: 15V - 45V.
  • Average Current (Standby Mode): < 84 mA.
  • Included Components: AT-19 GPS Tracker (1x), Wiring Harness (1x), QC Card (1x), Quick User Guide (1x), Fuel Cut Off Relay (1x).

Usage Features:

  • Wiring: The tracker requires a wired connection to the vehicle's power supply (RED for +12V-24V, BLACK for ground), an optional connection for the fuel pump relay (YELLOW), and an ACC detect wire (GREEN) to stop battery charging when the vehicle is switched off. The fuel cut-off relay connects to the yellow wire, with specific pin connections (86, 85, 30, 87a) to interrupt the fuel channel power circuit.
  • SIM Card: Requires an MTN SIM card to be RICA-registered and loaded with data (approximately 35-50MB per month) and airtime/SMS bundles for alarm notifications and SMS tracking.
  • Default Settings: Password (0000), Battery (OFF), Work mode (GPRS), Voice function (ON). Alarm notifications are only sent to pre-saved numbers.
  • Control Phone Numbers: The tracker can save up to three control phone numbers. These numbers can control the tracker, but alarm information is exclusively sent to these pre-saved numbers. Duplicating sequence numbers will overwrite existing entries.
  • Data Upload Interval: Configurable for when the ACC is ON (10-59999 seconds) and when the ACC is OFF (10-59999 seconds). Setting the interval to 0 disables uploads.
  • Sleep Mode: Allows the tracker to enter a low-power sleep mode after a period of inactivity (1-720 minutes) to conserve power. It awakens and restarts all functions upon sensing vibration.
  • Work Mode: Can be set to SMS Mode or GPRS Mode.
  • Password Change: Users can change the default password (4 figures) via SMS command.
  • Time Zone Setting: Allows users to set the time zone (East or West, with a 2-digit number 1-12).

Maintenance Features:

  • Reset: A specific SMS command (RESET) is available for resetting the device.
  • Configuration Readout: Users can request the current setup information of the tracker via SMS command (RCONF).
  • Troubleshooting: The manual provides disclaimers regarding incorrect wiring, emphasizing that the supplier is not responsible for device damage caused by improper installation and advises seeking professional help from a qualified auto electrician if uncertain about wiring.
  • LED Status Indicators:
    • Orange LED: Flashing indicates searching for GSM signal; continuously ON indicates GSM signal locked.
    • Blue LED: Flashing indicates searching for GPS signal; continuously ON indicates GPS signal locked.
    • Red LED: Flashing indicates charging/ON; continuously ON indicates no power.
