6.4 Scraper plate and skids
Adjust the scraper plate and side skids shown in the
adjacent figures so, that the snow blower runs
smoothly on the surface without the frame touching the
ground.
The side skids can be adjusted by setting them to the
desired height parallel on both sides.
The scraper plate under the snow blower can be
adjusted as needed, but it shouldn’t be adjusted to
c
onstant contact with the ground. On uneven surfaces
keep the snow blower tilted slightly forward, so that the
scraper will leave bigger ground clearance.
