Digital Inputs and Outputs
On the Digital Inputs and Outputs page, you can set up the external input and output devices that are connected
to the camera.
1. In the Digital Inputs area, enter a name for the digital input in the Name field and select the appropriate
state in the Circuit State drop down list. The Circuit State options are:
l Normally Open
l Normally Closed
Once the digital input is connected to the camera, you will see the connection status in the Circuit
Current State area. The status is typically Open or Closed.
2. In the Digital Outputs area, enter a name for the digital output in the Name field and select the
appropriate state in the Circuit State drop down list.
3. In the Digital Outputs Duration field, enter how long the digital output is active for when triggered. You
can enter any number between 100-3,600,000 milliseconds.
4. Check the IRCF to Out box to allow the camera's IR Cut Filter to control the external output.
This feature is typically used when the camera is connected to an external IR illuminator. Once enabled,
the IR illuminator is turned on when the camera's IRCut Filter is in monochrome mode.
5. Click Trigger to manually trigger the digital output from the web interface.
6. Click Apply to save your changes.
Microphone
