Charging the Aviva S180:
- From Wall with AC Adapter: Plug the included AC Wall Charger into a household wall outlet. The Info Display will show a flashing light during charging, and 100% when fully charged. Recharges from zero capacity in about 7 hours.
- Fast Charging from USB-C Wall Charger: Use the included USB-C cable with the 60W USB-C Power Delivery port and a compatible third-party USB-C wall charger. A flashing light on the Info Display indicates charging, and 100% when fully charged.
- From Solar Panel: Position the solar panel for maximum direct sunlight. Insert the solar panel plug into the DC6530 port and press and hold the DC button for 1 second to activate. The icon will flash on the display during charging, and 100% when fully charged. Important: Solar panel voltage must not exceed 18V to prevent damage. The S180 supports up to 100W solar input.
- From Vehicle's 12V Port: Use the included USB-C cable and adapter, plugging into the DC 5521 port and your vehicle's 12V (cigarette lighter) port. The icon will flash on the display during charging, and 100% when fully charged. It is recommended to use this method only when the vehicle engine is running.
Powering Devices:
- DC 12V Devices: Connect the appliance to the DC6530 interface. Press and hold the DC button for 1 second to power on/off. Ensure the DC 12V device has a DC 6530 male connector (6.5mm outer diameter) and draws <8A (peak 10A).
- AC Devices: Connect the device's power cord to the AC output port. Press and hold the AC button for 1 second to power on/off. Only devices up to 120W (240W peak) are supported.
- USB Digital Devices: Connect the standard USB cable to a USB interface. Click the DC button to activate power to the USB ports. The product will automatically hibernate after 60 seconds if no device is connected.
Battery Protection Method:
- Short Circuit / Overpower Protection (DC Output): If the DC output is shorted, the device will shut down. The DC output voltage range is 9V-12.5V, rated current 8A, maximum output current 10A. Voltage decreases with battery capacity. If the connected 12V device does not regulate charging voltage, it may shut down or suspend charging due to low input voltage.
- Short Circuit / Overpower Protection (AC Output): If the AC output is shorted or the load exceeds 240W, the unit will turn off the AC. Disconnect the attached device and restart the power station by pressing the AC output button to restore AC output. Some electrical equipment (e.g., refrigerators, ice makers, laser printers) may require peak power exceeding 240W, which will trigger overpower protection. Such devices are not compatible.
Maintenance Features:
Long-Term Maintenance:
