  If your AWA Docking Station cannot connect to the Internet, first ensure that your internet connection is active by checking if a computer connected to the same network can access the internet. If the internet connection is working, verify that your firewall is not blocking access. Specifically, ensure that UDP and TCP ports 80 and 123, as well as DNS port 53, are open. Note that some Internet radio stations might require additional ports to be opened.

  If your AWA Docking Station experiences hissing on FM or burbling/intermittent cut-out on DAB, it is likely due to low signal strength. To improve reception: * Adjust the antenna or connect an external antenna. * Increase the distance between the Docking Station and your TV or VCR. * Keep the Docking Station at least 1 meter away from your PC. * For DAB, rescan for local (high-strength) stations only. * For DAB, check local coverage at http://www.acma.gov.au/WEB/STANDARD/pc=PC_310504.
