What to do if my AWA Docking Station cannot connect to the Internet?
    • J
      Jessica WalkerAug 2, 2025
If your AWA Docking Station cannot connect to the Internet, first ensure that your internet connection is active by checking if a computer connected to the same network can access the internet. If the internet connection is working, verify that your firewall is not blocking access. Specifically, ensure that UDP and TCP ports 80 and 123, as well as DNS port 53, are open. Note that some Internet radio stations might require additional ports to be opened.

How to fix FM hiss or DAB burbling/cut-out on AWA Docking Station?
    • F
      fhudsonAug 14, 2025
If your AWA Docking Station experiences hissing on FM or burbling/intermittent cut-out on DAB, it is likely due to low signal strength. To improve reception: * Adjust the antenna or connect an external antenna. * Increase the distance between the Docking Station and your TV or VCR. * Keep the Docking Station at least 1 meter away from your PC. * For DAB, rescan for local (high-strength) stations only. * For DAB, check local coverage at http://www.acma.gov.au/WEB/STANDARD/pc=PC_310504.

If your AWA Docking Station cannot connect to the network, you can try the following: 1. Verify that the network is functioning correctly between your computer and the router. 2. If your router restricts access based on MAC addresses, access the WF900i MAC address via Menu > System settings > Network > View settings and add it to your router's list. 3. Assess the Wi-Fi signal strength by checking the distance between the router and the computer, ensuring the computer can connect to the network from the Docking Station's location. 4. If the encryption method is not supported, change the encryption method on your router. The WF900i supports WEP, WPA, and WPA2. 5. If you have an unusual network configuration, set up the network manually through Menu > System settings > Network > Manual ...
