Snapshots
Throughout this manual, a picture image generated by the AXIS 200+
is referred to as a snapshot. The following information describes how
to take a snapshot and also defines the various types of snapshots files
that can be produced.
Taking Snapshots
For each snapshot taken, the AXIS 200+ generates a JPEG file and
stores it within its internal memory.
Home Page
Snapshots
To produce a snapshot within the AXIS 200+ Home Page, simply
enter the name or Internet address of the unit into the
location/address field of your Web browser:

This causes the AXIS 200+ to generate a fullsize JPEG image. Each
time you reload the page, a new snapshot is displayed within the AXIS
200+ Home Page.
Clean Snapshots
To generate clean snapshots that are not embedded within the AXIS
200+ Home Page, you must specify the preferred snapshot type for the
target JPEG file within the URL of your Web browser. Snapshots can
be created in different file sizes, e.g. fullsize, halfsize etc.
