PixelCounter

Thepixelcountershowsthenumberofpixelsinanareaoftheimage.Thepixelcounterisusefulinsituationswherethereis

aspecicsizerequirement,forexampleinfacerecognition.

Thepixelcountercanbeused:

•Whensettingupavideostream,seeSetUpVideoStreamsonpage18.UnderPreview,clickOpenandselecttheShow

pixelcounteroptiontoenabletherectangleintheimage.Usethemousetomoveandresizetherectangle,orenterthe

numberofpixelsintheWidthandHeighteldsandclickApply.

•WhenaccessingtheLiveViewpageinInternetExplorerwithAXISMediaControl(AMC)inWindows.Right-clickinthe

imageandselectPixelcounter.Usethemousetomoveandresizetherectangle.

ThedefaultimagesettingscanbeconguredunderVideo&Audio>VideoStream.SelecttheImagetab.

Thefollowingsettingsareavailable:

•Resolution.Selectthedefaultresolution.

•Compression.Thecompressionlevelaffectstheimagequality,bandwidthandlesizeofsavedimages;thelowerthe

compression,thehighertheimagequalitywithhigherbandwidthrequirementsandlargerlesizes.
