What to do if the remote device connected to the Axis Laboratory Equipment powers up but there is no data link?

If your Axis Laboratory Equipment's remote device powers up but lacks a data link, first ensure you're using a standard STP CAT5 or higher, straight-wired network cable with four pairs if you're using an Ethernet RJ45 cable. Check that the cable length between the network switch and the remote device is less than 100 m (330 ft). If you're using an optical fiber cable, confirm that the cable and the SFP module are the correct type and that the cable is intact and functional. If possible, try connecting the remote device to a different midspan.
