Towing: It is towed by a vehicle, and the hopper rope for emptying should be attached to the towing vehicle, not to clothing or body, to prevent entanglement in moving parts.
Height Adjustment: The sweeper features an adjustable pole spacer (L) and a handle assembly (3) for height adjustment, allowing it to be adapted to different towing vehicle hitch heights and ground conditions.
Hopper Bag: The hopper bag (6) is designed to collect swept material. It should not be overfilled, as this can damage the bag. The bag corners are secured with snap buttons (15).
Safety Precautions:
- Not to be used by children or ridden upon.
- Always wear safety glasses during operation.
- Avoid using near fire, as brushes and the hopper bag are flammable.
- Ensure the brush is stationary before removing any entangled string or wire.
- Reduce speed on uneven ground, near ditches, and on slopes to prevent overturning. Be aware of hidden pits and dangers.
- Not designed for use on streets or large roads; exercise caution near public roads.
- All nuts and bolts must be fully tightened before use.
- Inspect and repair the sweeper if it hits an object before continued use.
- Ensure the sweeper is in good condition before each use.
- Lubricate wheel axles before each use.

Maintenance Features

Proper maintenance and storage are crucial to ensure the longevity of the sweeper and to maintain warranty validity.

After Each Use:
- Empty the hopper bag.
- Rinse and dry the inside and outside of the sweeper.
- Remove any material wrapped around the brushes.
Regular Checks:
- Periodically check all fasteners for tightness.
Lubrication:
- Twice a year: Apply a few drops of light multipurpose oil to the brush shaft bearings. The bearings are pre-lubricated from the factory.
- Annually: Clean and lightly lubricate all moving parts.
- Every two years: Remove and clean the gears, then apply an even coat of light synthetic grease.
Wheel Gear/Pawl Service:
- When servicing, remove only one wheel at a time to avoid mixing up parts, as the left and right side components are different.
- Note the position of all washers and other parts during disassembly.
- To remove a wheel, use a screwdriver to pop off the hub cap, then remove the lock nut and washer.
Cosmetic Maintenance:
- Touch up scratched or worn painted metal surfaces with glossy enamel spray paint.
Storage:
- Do not overfill the hopper bag, as this can damage it.
