Rear Cover Removal and Installation
To Remove the Rear Cover
1. Remove the six threaded fasteners (A, Figure 22)
securing the rear cover to the machine.
2. Lift the cover (B) from the machine. Set the components
aside.
To Install the Rear Cover
1. Place the cover (B) onto the rear of the mower, aligning
the holes in the cover with the holes in the mower.
2. Secure the cover to the mower with the threaded
fasteners (A).
WARNING
DO NOT attempt any maintenance, adjustments or service
with engine and blade running. STOP engine and blade.
Disconnect spark plug wire and secure away from spark
plug. Engine and components are HOT. Avoid serious
burns, allow sufficient time for all components to cool.
