- Flow Pressure (recommended): 1.5 bar. If the pressure exceeds 2 bar, a pressure reducer must be installed.
- Water Temperature: Maximum 80°C.
- Dimensions: The manual includes a diagram indicating a measurement of 150 (likely mm) for the main body of the faucet and a 30 (likely mm) offset for the connections.
Usage Features
The faucet is designed for straightforward operation. Users can adjust water flow and temperature using the control knobs on the unit.
Safety Features:
- Scalding Hazard: Users are warned to be careful when setting hot water due to the risk of scalding.
- Frost Protection: The faucet is suitable for use in rooms with temperatures above 0°C. In the event of frost risk, the water supply should be interrupted, and the faucet emptied to prevent damage.
- Low-Pressure Systems: For low-pressure systems (e.g., with low-pressure or electric storage heaters), the hot water faucet should be opened until water flows without bubbles before initial operation. It's noted that a low-pressure faucet may drip during water heating as it acts like a pressure relief valve.
- Stagnant Water: If the faucet has not been used for a long period, a significant amount of water should be run through it before taking water for drinking.
Maintenance Features
Cleaning:
- General Cleaning: The faucet requires special care. It should only be cleaned with clear water and a soft cloth or chamois leather.
- Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Do not use metallic cleaning products, aggressive cleaning agents, or solvents.
- Chrome Surfaces: Chrome-plated surfaces are sensitive to limescale removers, acidic cleaning agents, and all types of scouring agents.
- Colored Surfaces: Colored surfaces must not be cleaned with abrasive, corrosive, or alcohol-containing agents.
Cartridge Replacement:
- The cartridge is a wear-and-tear part. In areas with very hard or dirty water, it may need to be replaced every 1 to 2 years.
Installation:
- Professional Installation: Installation must be carried out by a qualified installation engineer or a technically-versed end-user instructed by an installation engineer. Failure to comply voids the warranty.
- Water Supply Shut-off: The general water supply must be switched off before installing or disassembling the faucet.
- Seal Placement: Ensure seals are correctly positioned during installation.
- Leak Check: After installation, all connections must be checked for tightness, and the faucet's functionality must be tested.
- Flushing Pipes: Pipes and fittings must be installed, inspected, and flushed according to current standards and regulations. After installation, the mixer jet should be unscrewed, and the pipes and faucet (hot/cold water supply) thoroughly flushed to remove any contaminants (shavings, hemp residues). The mixer jet should be re-screwed onto the outlet after flushing.
- Hand-Tightening Hoses: Connection hoses should only be hand-tightened. Excessive tightening can cause the threaded section to break off, leading to water damage.
Disposal:
- Product Disposal: The product should not be disposed of with household waste. It must be disposed of professionally, and information can be obtained from relevant waste disposal authorities.
- Packaging Disposal: The packaging consists of cardboard and marked plastics, which are recyclable. These materials should be taken to a recycling center.
