What to do if baltur BGN 250 DSPGN ME Indoor Fireplace goes into lock-out but there is no flame?

If your Baltur Indoor Fireplace goes into “lock-out” with gas flowing but no flame (red light on), this indicates a fault in the ignition circuit. Here's what you can check: 1. Fault in the ignition circuit: Check the ignition transformer power supply (230V) and high voltage circuit (electrode to earth or isolator broken under locking terminal). 2. Ignition transformer cable discharges to earth: Replace the cable. 3. Ignition transformer cable disconnected: Connect the cable. 4. Faulty ignition transformer: Replace the transformer. 5. Incorrect distance between electrode and earth: Position at the correct distance. 6. Dirty isolator causing electrode discharge to earth: Clean or change the isolator or electrode.
