The Balzano Power Blender OK1801A is a versatile kitchen appliance designed for blending various food items. It is intended for home use and can be operated by children 8 years of age and older, as well as by persons with physical or mental impairments or by inexperienced persons, provided they are properly supervised and informed about safe usage.

Function Description:

The Balzano Power Blender is primarily designed for blending food. It comes with a large 1.5L blender jug (A3) and two 0.7L storage bottles (A7), allowing for flexible use depending on the quantity of ingredients. The appliance features a blade assembly (A4) driven by a motor unit (A5). The control panel (A8) includes a display (B1) and various buttons for different blending programs:

• ON/OFF (B11): To turn the appliance on or off.
• PULSE EXTRA (B2): For short pulse processing at maximum power.
• FLOUR/NUTS (B4): For chopping nuts, dried fruit, and milling flour.
• ICE CRUSH (B5): Specifically for crushing ice.
• SAUTE SOUP (B6): For mixing soups and sauces.
• SMOOTHIE EXTRA (B7): For drinks and smoothie preparation, running at maximum power at regular intervals.
• NUTRI BLEND (B8): For thorough processing of ingredients.
• SMOOTHIE (B9): For drinks and smoothie preparation, running at maximum power at regular intervals.

The inner lid (A1) doubles as a measuring cup, and the blender jug lid (A2) secures the contents during operation. The storage bottle lids (A6) are provided for the 0.7L storage bottles.

Usage Features:

The blender is equipped with a safety mechanism that prevents it from starting unless the removable accessories are correctly seated on the motor unit. This safety lock ensures the appliance can only be switched on if properly assembled.

Assembly:

For the large blender jug (A3):

1. Place the motor unit (A5) on a stable, even, and dry surface.
2. Screw the blade assembly (A4) to the bottom of the blender jug (A3) firmly.
3. Add ingredients to the jug, not exceeding the maximum level mark.
4. Place the lid (A2) on the jug and insert the inner lid (A1) into the hole in the lid.
5. Align the handle of the blender jug (A3) with the arrow symbol on the motor unit (A5) and turn clockwise until resistance is felt.
6. Insert the power cord plug into the power socket.

For the storage bottle (A7):

1. Place the motor unit (A5) on a stable, even, and dry surface.
2. Add ingredients to the storage bottle (A7), not exceeding the maximum level mark.
3. Screw the blade assembly (A4) onto the storage bottle (A7) firmly.
4. Turn the storage bottle (A7) upside down and place it on the motor unit (A5), ensuring projections fit into the holes. Turn clockwise until resistance is felt.
5. Insert the power cord plug into the power socket.

Operation:

Once assembled and plugged in, the display (B1) will illuminate. For the large blender jug, the large blender jug icon (B3) and control lights for ON/OFF (B11), PULSE EXTRA (B2), FLOUR/NUTS (B4), ICE CRUSH (B5), SAUTE SOUP (B6), and SMOOTHIE EXTRA (B7) will light up. For the storage bottle, the storage bottle icon (B10) and control lights for ON/OFF (B11), NUTRI BLEND (B8), and SMOOTHIE (B9) will illuminate. Press the ON/OFF (B11) button, then select the desired program or use the PULSE (B2) button for short bursts. After processing, press ON/OFF (B11) again and unplug the appliance.

Important Usage Tips:

• Cut ingredients into equal cubes (approx. 1.5cm).
• Do not process dry ingredients without liquid.
• Add more liquid if ingredients become too thick.
• Process large quantities in smaller batches.
• Process food in shorter intervals.
• Avoid continuous operation for more than 3 minutes; for harder foods or thick liquids, limit to 1 minute. Allow 10 minutes to cool before restarting.
• Do not pour hot liquids (above 40°C) into the jug.
• Do not exceed 1500 ml for the blender jug (A3) or 700 ml for the storage bottle (A7).
• For foaming ingredients (e.g., milk, soya milk), do not exceed 800 ml for the blender jug (A3) or 300 ml for the storage bottle (A7).
• If ingredients stick, turn off, unplug, and ensure the blade assembly has stopped before removing the jug and cleaning with a plastic spatula.

Built-in Thermal Fuse:

The appliance has a thermal fuse to protect the motor from overheating. If it shuts off due to overload, unplug it, check for blockages, and allow the motor unit (A5) to cool down for approximately 30 minutes before resuming use.

Maintenance Features:

Always disconnect the power cord and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.

• Blade Assembly (A4): Handle with extreme care due to sharp edges.
• Motor Unit (A5): Wipe with a lightly dampened sponge and dry with a clean cloth. Do not submerge the motor unit or its power cord in water.
• Blender Jug (A3), Lid (A2), Inner Lid (A1), Storage Bottle (A7), and Storage Bottle Lids (A6):
  • Quick Cleaning: After use, fill the blender jug (A3) with clean, cold water up to the maximum level, add a small amount of neutral dishwashing detergent, place the lid (A2) with inner lid (A1) inserted, and place on the motor unit (A5). Plug in and press and hold PULSE EXTRA (B2) for approx. 3 seconds, repeating several times. Disconnect, remove the jug, and pour out the contents.
  • Thorough Cleaning: Unscrew the blade assembly (A4). Wash the jug, lids, and blade assembly in warm water with a small amount of neutral dishwashing detergent using a soft sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • Dishwasher Safe: All parts except the blade assembly (A4) can be washed in the upper basket of a dishwasher.

Storage:

When not in use for extended periods, unplug, clean, and ensure all parts are dry. Store in a dry, clean, well-ventilated location, away from extreme temperatures and out of reach of children or animals.

Environmental Disposal:

Do not dispose of the appliance with normal household waste. Hand it in at an official collection point for recycling to help preserve the environment.
