WARRANTY

Banda Audioparts warrants this equipment to be free of all defects in material and workmanship for

a period of 12 months from the date of purchase

Within the period of this warranty, Banda Audioparts will repair or replace, free of charge, any part

proving defective in material or workmanship.

Warranty Exclusions:

1. Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, alterations or improper installation;

2. Damage resulting from installation in surfaces subjected to high levels of vibration;

3. Corrective work necessitated by repairs made by anyone other than a Banda Audioparts

authorized service technician;

This warranty does not cover shipping costs.

The defective equipment must be shipped to the factory or to an authorized service center

What to do if my Banda Audioparts Amplifier is in protection mode?

  If the Banda Audioparts Amplifier triggers protection mode, several issues could be the cause. First, inspect the internal fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same current rating (Megaval 225A for Viking 5000, or Megaval 250A for Viking 8000 if blown). Next, check for a short circuit in the output terminals by disconnecting all speakers and the input RCA cable, turning off the amplifier, waiting 20 seconds, and then turning it back on. If the blue LED lights up, the amplifier is working correctly. Also, verify that no speaker has a short circuit or that the total impedance load is not lower than the amplifier's specifications. Finally, ensure the battery provides enough current to the amplifier and that the cables can handle the current.

  To address output noise in your Banda Audioparts Amplifier, begin by inspecting for loose connections in the signal input or RCA cable. Check for a ground connection in the radio/CD RCA output. Ensure that RCA cables are routed separately from power cables. Verify that the +12Vdc powering the amplifier comes directly from the battery. Confirm the ground cable is connected to the car chassis as close as possible to the amplifier. Both the radio/CD and amplifier must be firmly connected to the car chassis ground to prevent noise and voltage fluctuations.
