The BANDIT 320 security fogging system is specifically designed to provide high reliability
and simple, quick and minimal maintenance requirements. Each BANDIT 320 system
consists of a Fog Generator and an associated System Controller which is shown below.
Routine service consists of the procedures listed below.
The BANDIT 320 Recommended service schedule
1. Annually (Not necessary, but recommended if opportunity arises)
(estimated time required 15 20 minutes)
Check that the green light is showing on the front of the Fog Generator, which
indicates the unit is operational.
Ensure there are no obstructions that may impede the fog output if the Fog
Generator was to activate.
2. Every 2 Years (Required)
(estimated time required 25 30 minutes)
In addition to the annual requirements, replace the Controller’s power supply
rechargeable battery.
Press the ‘Fog Isolation’ button on the Controller, to inhibit fog ejection.
‘Activate’ the BANDIT 320 by conducting a ‘dummy test’ of the intruder alarm
system. Whilst ‘isolated’ a successful activation will be confirmed by the Fog
Generator providing an audible ‘beep’ of approx. 3 seconds duration.
Reset your alarm system to normal mode
Once completed, press the ‘Fog Isolation’ button on the controller once again, to
return the system to normal status.
