What to do if Banks Tuner shows OBDII / BanksBus CAN communication error?

  If your Banks Tuner displays an OBDII / BanksBus CAN communication error, turn the ignition OFF and inspect the following connections: 1) Check the 61300-35 OBD-II Interface Cable at the 16-pin vehicle OBD-II and 4-pin inter-cable connectors. 2) Check the 61301-21 Y-Adapter Cable at the 4-pin inter-cable and 6-pin inter-cable connectors. 3) Check the 61301-20 B-Bus Starter Cable at the 6-pin inter-cable and 6-pin B-Bus Circular connectors. 4) Check the 61300-22 B-Bus Terminator Plug at the 6-pin B-Bus Circular connector. After checking the connections, turn the ignition back ON and see if the error code reappears. If it doesn't, start the engine and check for the code at engine idle and under various driving conditions.

What to do if Banks Tuner shows Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Output Voltage Out of Range?

  If the Banks Tuner indicates that the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Output Voltage is out of range, turn the ignition OFF. Check both the male and female MAP sensor connectors. Then, turn the ignition back ON and recheck for the code. If the code doesn't reappear when the key is ON, start the engine and check for the code both when the engine is idling and under different driving conditions.

  If the Banks Tuner displays a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Input Voltage Out of Range error, the suggested solution is to turn the ignition OFF. Check the male and female MAP sensor connectors. Turn the ignition back ON and re-check for presence of code. If code does not re-appear at key ON, start engine and check for presence of code both at engine idle and under varying driving conditions.

  If the Banks Tuner shows that the Throttle Inlet Pressure (TIP) Output Voltage is out of range, turn the ignition OFF and check the male and female TIP sensor connectors. Turn the ignition back ON and re-check for presence of code. If the code doesn't reappear when the key is ON, start the engine and check for the code both when the engine is idling and under different driving conditions.
