IMPORTANT WATER PRESSURE AND
OPERATING INFORMATION
After connecting the hose connector to your garden
hose, TURN ON WATER SLOWLY and adjust the
water pressure accordingly. Water pressure can vary
dramatically between cities. Please read the following
for answers to common questions.
AREAS OF LOW WATER PRESSURE
• For maximum performance, it is recommended to
use a 5/8 in (1.6 cm) diameter garden hose.
• If water does not arch on the product / spray
properly, it is usually due to low water pressure.
Make sure the water is on all the way. As long as the
slides are getting wet, it will be fun to use.
• Long hose reduces water pressure: The longer the
hose, the farther the water travels from the faucet,
thus reducing water pressure. In areas of low water
pressure, this could affect the performance of the
product. Try using a shorter hose if you have one.
AREAS OF HIGH WATER PRESSURE
• If water arches / sprays over the product, adjust the
faucet to lower the water pressure. It is important
that the water lands on the product to keep it wet
and slick.
MAINTENANCE OF PRODUCT
1. Check the product at regular intervals for holes,
tears or other damage. DO NOT use a damaged
product. Use of a damaged product could result in
serious injury or death.
2. In addition to checking the product at regular
intervals, be sure to complete a thorough check of
the entire product at the beginning of each season
or series of use.
3. If any components of the product are damaged or
have deteriorated, discontinue use and contact the
manufacturer.
4. Regularly check the condition of the ground stakes
that hold the slide in place. Damage to or
deterioration of the stakes could result in the slide
becoming unstable, which could result in serious
injury.

Overview

The Banzai Splash Sprint Racing Slide is an inflatable water slide designed for children aged 5-12, requiring adult setup and supervision. It is intended for outdoor use on a flat, level lawn, free from rocks, bumps, depressions, sticks, or other sharp objects. The product is not suitable for use on pavement or other hard surfaces. Due to its size, it is not recommended for older children or adults, as it poses a risk of spine, neck, head, or other life-threatening injuries. The maximum weight capacity for a single user is 110 lb (50 kg).

Function Description:

The Splash Sprint Racing Slide provides a water-based sliding experience. Users are instructed to run and jump low to the ground from a crouching position, landing on their stomach with arms stretched out in front and head up. After sliding, users scoot off the slide, stand on the grass, and walk back to the beginning to slide again. The slide surface is kept wet by a continuous flow of water from a connected garden hose, creating a slick surface for sliding.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Age Range: 5-12 years.
  • Weight Limit: Not for use by anyone weighing over 110 lb (50 kg).
  • Setup Area: Requires a minimum distance of 10 ft (305 cm) away from any freestanding structures or obstructions, including houses, garages, fences, trees, playground equipment, and large rocks.
  • Temperature Sensitivity: Should not be unfolded or inflated in temperatures below 50 °F (10 °C).
  • Hose Recommendation: For maximum performance, a 5/8 in (1.6 cm) diameter garden hose is recommended.
  • Components: Includes one Splash Sprint Racing Slide and two ground stakes.

Usage Features:

  • Adult Supervision: Competent adult setup and supervision are required at all times. Adults must instruct children on proper use.
  • Safety Precautions:
    • Users must remove all hard or sharp objects (toys, buckles, keys, jewelry, watches) from their person and pockets before use.
    • Users must always slide down on their stomach, facing forward with arms extended in front, with their head up.
    • Never slide on knees, head, or feet, and never dive head first.
    • The slide surface must be wet before sliding.
    • No diving is permitted.
    • Only one child should be on the sliding lane surface at a time.
    • The product should be set up on a flat, level lawn only.
  • Water Pressure Management:
    • Low Water Pressure: If water does not arch or spray properly, ensure the water is on all the way. A longer hose can reduce water pressure; using a shorter hose may improve performance. The product is still functional as long as the slides are getting wet.
    • High Water Pressure: If water arches or sprays over the product, adjust the faucet to lower the water pressure to ensure water lands on the product, keeping it wet and slick.
  • Setup Process:
    1. Select a suitable placement area on a flat, level lawn, ensuring the 10 ft (305 cm) safety perimeter is clear.
    2. Roll out the product and inspect for holes, tears, or other damage.
    3. Insert one plastic stake into the hole at each corner of the slide and push it firmly into the ground using both hands until level with the ground. Repeat for the opposite corner. Stakes should be checked frequently to ensure they remain level. Only manufacturer-supplied stakes should be used.
    4. Before connecting the water slide to a water source, use a standard garden hose to wet the entire slide surface.
    5. Attach the end of a garden hose to the hose connector on the slide, tightening it until it cannot turn further.
    6. Turn on water slowly and gradually increase the flow until a tunnel of water arches and lands on the slide, keeping it wet.

Maintenance Features:

  • Regular Inspections: The product should be checked at regular intervals for holes, tears, or other damage. A damaged product should not be used, as it could result in serious injury or death.
  • Seasonal Checks: A thorough check of the entire product should be completed at the beginning of each season or series of use.
  • Component Damage: If any components are damaged or have deteriorated, discontinue use and contact the manufacturer.
  • Ground Stake Condition: Regularly check the condition of the ground stakes. Damage or deterioration of stakes could lead to the slide becoming unstable and causing serious injury.
  • During Play: For long periods of play, the slide should be moved occasionally to prevent causing depressions in the ground underneath.
  • After Use and Storage:
    1. Disconnect the garden hose from the connector.
    2. Remove the stakes from the ground by pulling on the head of the stake (do not pull on the product's corner).
    3. Drain the product and let it dry completely.
    4. Ensure the product and its accessories are free of dirt, leaves, sand, etc.
    5. Once completely dry, carefully roll it up (do not fold to avoid creasing) and store it in a secure location away from children. Do not store indoors or in a closed container until it is completely dry.
    6. Remove the product from the lawn when not in use to prevent grass from yellowing or other damage.
