The Barbieri TracMow 95 EVO BHV is a remote-controlled grassland mower designed for grass cutting and weed control in agriculture and public green areas, including flat and sloped terrain. The "BHV" designation stands for "Barbieri Hybrid Vehicle," indicating its hybrid engine system.
Function Description:
The TracMow 95 EVO is a remote-controlled machine that allows operators to manage grass cutting from a safe distance, particularly useful for working on steep slopes or in hazardous environments. Its primary function is mulching rear discharge, with two swinging blades for efficient cutting. The machine is equipped with an innovative electronic control system (ECU) that continuously monitors environmental conditions and engine performance to optimize operation. A key feature is the "Compass Servo Drive" (optional), a driver assistant system that enhances safety by allowing the operator to work further from the machine, minimizes overlap of cutting passages, maximizes effective cutting width, and enables precise work over long distances. The "BeaconNet" is a colored flashing light that communicates the machine's status (on, off, alarm, danger, PTO on, power steering, etc.) to the operator. The radio control provides visual alarm messages with codes and vibrates to alert the operator to anomalies.

Usage Features:
- Remote Control Operation: The machine is operated via a robust radio control with a 2.4 GHz frequency and AFA technology for interference-free transmission. The display shows alarm messages and battery/fuel levels.
- Engine Start/Stop: Engine start involves moving the throttle lever to maximum, pressing button (A), then button (B) until the engine starts. To stop, press the red alarm button (O) on the remote control, or the alarm button on the machine (L), or turn off the start key (I). The engine also stops if radio connection is lost.
- Driving: Controlled by a joystick (G) for speed and direction. The joystick function can be reversed.
- Slope Work: Designed for slopes up to 35° front and 45° lateral. It's recommended to work longitudinally on slopes and avoid working up or down-hill; always travel across the slope when possible. The machine reduces speed on inclines over 30°.
- PTO (Mowing Blade): Activated by pressing button (P) on the remote control. The PTO will not start if engine speed is abnormally low. The BeaconNet changes from green to flashing yellow when the PTO is active. The system can switch off the PTO if the knife is overloaded.
- Cutting Height Adjustment: Adjustable from 30-150 mm via the control lever (F) on the remote control.
- Auxiliary Socket: For external devices like spray pumps, LED lights, or rear power lifts, controlled from the remote control.
- Loading/Unloading: Requires ramps with specific dimensions (length > 4 times platform height, width > 30 cm, 2 ramps, capacity > 250 kg per ramp, anti-skid surfaces). The mower deck must be fully lifted.
- Safety Area: A danger area of 50m radius around the machine must be maintained, with only the operator (wearing PPE) allowed within 1m.
Maintenance Features:
- Engine Oil: Check oil level (near upper mark on dipstick D) on flat ground before each use. Replace after the first 50 hours (break-in period), then according to the maintenance schedule. Recommended oil type: Agip Rotra MP (SAE 10W/30), quantity 2.2 Lt.
- Air Filter: Clean frequently (every 2 hours in dry/congested areas, daily under normal conditions). Wash the sponge (G) and blow out the paper filter (F). Replace if damaged or after five washes.
- Fuel Tanks: Check fuel level before starting. The machine has a double tank (32 Lt total). A reserve sensor on tank 1 indicates when to switch to tank 2.
- Crawler Tension: Check condition of tracks to prevent them from coming out of guides. Adjust tension if play between frame and tensor lock is higher than 4mm using compensating washers. Track tension should be 3.06 Kgm (30 Nm).
- Cutting Blades: Check condition and sharpness before each use. Blades rotate at high speed; abnormal wear or damage can cause excessive vibration. Fasteners (screws, washers, bushings) must be checked and tightened to 130 Nm. Replace if broken or bent.
- Blade Transmission Belt: Adjust tension after a few hours of operation. Bending depth should not exceed 5mm with a 5kg force.
- Gear Oil: Replace after 500 hours of operation (unless leaks occur earlier). Oil type: SAE 80W90, quantity 0.5 Kg.
- Lubrication: Grease joints and connections every 50 hours.
- Protection Chains/Rubber Flap-guards: Check daily and every 50 hours. Replace if bent or missing as they are safety components.
- Radiocontroller Battery: Charge both batteries before use.
- Disposal: Li-NH and Pb batteries, and exhaust oil must be disposed of separately at designated collection points.
