Barkey Prismacomfort
1 Introduction
This user manual is intended as an introduction to the functions of the Barkey Pris-
macomfort blood heater for the Gambro Prismaflex haemodialysis system. It covers the
commissioning, use and maintenance of this unit.
1.1 Important things to observe
WARNING
Carefully read through this user manual before using the device.
It is imperative that you observe the information about correct use and the safety
instructions contained in Chapter 3 of this user manual. For a better understanding
of this chapter you should familiarise yourself with the basic functions of the de-
vice as described in Chapter 2.
You should also comply with the requirements for the training and skills of persons
using the device, as indicated in Chapter 1.4.
