Extend tripod legs and secure height using wing nuts and washers.
Attach all three tripod legs to the tripod head using wing nuts and screws.
Connect telescope main body to the tripod yoke and adjust with locking screw.
Mount the finder scope bracket onto the telescope main body and secure with screws.
Loosen declination clamp, set declination to 90°, and tighten clamp.
Loosen horizontal lever, orient telescope to true North using Pole Star or compass.
Adjust polar axis to local latitude and aim at Pole Star for alignment.
Align finderscope with a distant object using the main telescope's view and focus.
Adjust finder scope using screws until the object is centered in both views.
