5. When the appliance is not to be used any more, it should be switched off with
the ON/OFF switch.
6. Disconnect the appliance from power supply (pull the plug out).
Indications and Tips
• Do not use the appliance in bright light, as it deteriorates its efficiency.
• Before switching on other sources of light in a room, first switch the insect killer
for 10–20 minutes.
• We recommend using it for 24 hours. Repeated switching the appliance on and
off shortens the life of fluorescent lamps.
• When operating the appliance, make sure that:
– the metal grid is correctly fit and undamaged
– wires of the metal cage are running parallel against each other
– there is a clearance maintained between wires, so that they do not come
in contact.
NOTE!
Otherwise, the effectiveness of the appliance will be lower.
