• The appliance may also be hung at the ceiling or on a wall.
• If possible, place the appliance at the height of 1.5–2 meters, in a semi-shaded
are.
• Pull the eyes for hanging from the housing and fit the enclosed chain in the
eyes.
• Make sure the appliance is securely fixed (nails, bolts, etc.). Such a fixture
should withstand the weight of the appliance.
• Then, hang the appliance on the prepared fixture.
Power supply connection
• Verify if technical data of the appliance (see rating plate) correspond with the
local electric power grid specification.
• Connect the appliance to a single, properly grounded mains socket with
protective contact. Do not connect the appliance to a multi-socket.
• The power cord should be laid in a way preventing anyone from threading on it
or tripping against it.
5.2 Operation
Also, after switching the appliance off, a certain residual voltage
remains at the metal grid.
Never operate the appliance with bear and wet hands.
Do not touch the metal grid with a rod made of an electrically conducting
material.
Use an insulated rod to discharge the load (with a metal tip).
1. Before use, clean the appliance observing instructions in section 6 'Cleaning'.
2. Then dry the appliance thoroughly.
3. Connect the appliance to a single grounded socket.
4. Switch the appliance on with the ON/OFF switch.
The appliance is equipped with 2 UV-A Fluorescent lamps, which effectively lure
insects. The appliance kills insects by means of an electric shock of 2,000–2,200 V
at an electrically charge metal grid.
Insects fall into an easily removable drawer.
