Laythepaperflatonthefeedintable.
Smoothoutpaperandflattenanyfoldededges.
Makesurethefirstfewinchesoftheleadingedge(15-20cm)isnotcurled.Ifcurlexistsre-rollthepaper
againstthecurltoflattenoutthepaper.
Positiontheplanfaceupwiththetitleblockinthelowerrighthandcornerasperthediagramonthepaper
guide.
Lightlybringthepaperintocontactwiththeinsideedgeofthepaperguide,(Note:Donotpushtoofirmlyas
thiswillcausethepapertocrease) thenwithaconstantmotionmovethepaperparalleltothepaperguideto
thepaperguideroller. Makesurethepaperremainssquareandflatuponentrytothefolder.
Pleasenotethattheleadingedgewillbeontopafterthefoldingiscompleted.
Donotfeedinthenextsheetuntilthefoldingofthefirstsheetiscompletedandthepaperhasexitedtothe
paperreceivingtray.Alsomakesurethatthenextsheettobefoldedisnotunderthesensorsinthepaper
guideareaasthiswillcauseadefaultmessageorcausethefirstsheettobefoldedincorrectly.
Oncethefirstsheethasbeenfanfoldedtheplanmaybere-introducedtothefoldertoperformthecrossfold.
ThisoperationisautomaticastheFOLDJETdetectsthenarrowwidthofthefoldedpaperandgoesintothe
crossfoldmode.Removethefoldedplanfromthereceivingtrayandsmoothoutthefoldonthepaperfeedin
table. Movetheplanagainsttheloweredgeofthepaperguideandwithaconstantmotionmovetheplanto
thepaperguideroller.PleasenotethatthemaximumsizewhichcanbecrossfoldedisA0/Esizeformat.
