1. Make sure Coiled Cable is routed correctly
into head and will not be pinched or cut.
2. Place the end of the saw head
assembly over the end of the Hex Tube.
Make sure it is seated securely over the
end of the Hex Tube and cannot move.

3. Thread the Collar securely in place over
the threads of the saw head assembly.

connection carefully to make certain it

1. !;=KM;'=NMGI'VG;6 Soak Saw Chain in bar
and chain oil (sold separately) overnight.
2. Remove Cover Knob, then remove Drive Cover.
3. Loosen Tensioning Screw.

4. Slide Saw Chain’s drive links into
Guide Bar’s groove, making sure chain is
installed in correct rotation direction.

5. Place Saw Chain around Drive Sprocket, place
Guide Bar’s lower oil hole over Tension Pin.

6. Tighten Tensioning Screw until bottoms
of cutters contact bottom of Guide Bar,
then tighten an additional 1/4 turn.
7. Replace Drive Cover and Cover Knob.
