What to do if the engine is not starting in my BCI bus?

If the engine of your BCI bus isn't starting, there are several potential causes. First, check that the red engine safety isolator switch in the engine bay is in the ‘off’ position; if it's ‘on’, switch it ‘off’. Also, make sure the battery terminals are secure. If the batteries have no charge, charge or replace them. A failed starter solenoid could also be the culprit, in which case you should replace it. Finally, verify that the earth strap from the engine to the chassis is secure and has a good connection.
