  Several factors can prevent your burner from lighting. Ensure that your propane tank isn't empty by replacing or refilling it. Check the coupling nut and fully tighten if it's loose. Straighten any bent hose. Clear any obstructions from the burner holes, or clean the holes. Finally, make sure the control knob is turned on.
