3. The appliance should be installed in a room where there are no ignition
sources in operation (e.g.: open fire, gas and electrical appliances in
operation with open heat source)
4. Do not perforate or burn the air conditioner.
5. Make sure that the cooling circuit is not drilled.
6. Non-ventilated rooms in which the appliance is installed, operated or
stored must be designed in such a way that any loss of refrigerant does
not build up. This avoids the risk of fire or explosion caused by ignition of
the refrigerant caused by electric ovens, cookers or other sources of
ignition. The device must be stored in such a way that no mechanical
damage can occur.
7. Persons operating or intervening on a refrigeration circuit shall be in
possession of a valid certificate issued by an authorized authority
certifying their expertise in the handling of refrigerants by a rating
specification recognized by the industry associations.
8. The repair work must be carried out according to the instructions of the
manufacturer of the device. Repair and maintenance operations that
require the use of additional specialist personnel are to be carried out
under the supervision of a specialist who is responsible for the handling
of flammable refrigerants.
9. Repair work must be carried out in accordance with the instructions
provided by the manufacturer of the appliance. Repair and maintenance
operations that require the intervention of additional qualified personnel
must be carried out under the supervision of the qualified person
responsible for handling flammable refrigerants.
