Function Description

The BAC502 ProPar can operate in several modes:

DMX Control: The fixture can be controlled via DMX, allowing for precise control over dimming, strobe, and individual color channels. It offers multiple DMX channel modes (3, 7, 25, or 28 channels) to suit different control needs.
Auto Programs: Built-in automated programs provide dynamic light shows without the need for external control. These programs can be selected and adjusted for speed.

Usage Features

Installation: The fixture should be installed by qualified personnel, ensuring it is securely mounted. The suspension system must be able to support at least 10 times the weight of the fixture for 1 hour without any deformation. An additional secondary safety attachment (e.g., an appropriate catch net) is required. Maintain a minimum distance of 0.5 meters from flammable materials.
Display and Menu Navigation: The fixture features a display and control buttons (MODE, UP, DOWN, ENTER) for navigating the menu and selecting functions. The "Mode" button cycles through main menus, "Up" and "Down" navigate within menus, and "Enter" confirms selections.
DMX Connection: Connect a DMX controller to the fixture's DMX input using a 3-pin XLR cable. For multiple fixtures, link them in a daisy chain. The last fixture in the chain should have a 120 Ohm terminator connected to its DMX output.
IR Remote Control: The remote allows for convenient operation from a distance. It requires a 3V CR2025 button battery.

Maintenance Features

Dust, smoke, and particularly dirty surroundings can cause greater accumulation of dirt. The exterior should be cleaned regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth. Lenses should be cleaned with a glass cleaning fluid. Avoid using alcohol or solvents.
Fuse Replacement: If the fuse is defective, replace it with a fuse of the same type and value. To replace, unscrew the fuse holder on the rear panel, remove the old fuse, insert the new one, and re-secure the holder.
General Maintenance: Periodically check all screws, nuts, and other fasteners to ensure they are securely tightened. Inspect housing, fixations, and installation spots for any deformation. Power supply cables should be checked for damage. Any repairs should only be carried out by a qualified technician.
Storage: If the device is to be stored for an extended period, it should be kept in a cool, dry, and dust-free environment.
