5. Inial use
1. Take the product out of the package and remove all the packaging material.
Open the baery compartment of the outdoor sensor and insert two 1.5V
AA baeries. Pay aenon to the correct polarity of the contacts.
2. Determine the channel number of the outdoor sensor.
3. Then press the "RCC" buon in the baery compartment of the outdoor
sensor to receive the radio-controlled me signal (DCF). Then close the bat-
tery compartment.
4. Now open the baery compartment of the backup baery at the boom of
the weather staon and insert a CR2032 baery. Pay aenon to the correct
polarity of the contacts.
5. Then, connect the provided 5V DC coaxial power adapter to the weather
staon.
6. For this purpose, connect the power adapter to a properly installed socket.
Note: The CR2032 baery is used only as a backup baery and supplies pow-
er to the internal memory so that all sengs are saved.
This wireless sensor can receive the radio-controlled clock signal for automac
me synchronizaon of the main unit.
To use this funcon, the sensor must be connected only to the main unit. Once the
channel is assigned to a wireless thermal hygroscope sensor, you can change this
only by removing the baeries or by reseng the device.
Do not place the sensor in direct sunlight, rain or snow.
To prevent the connecon between the wireless sensor and the main unit from
disconnecng, rst switch on the sensors, and then press the RESET buon in the
main unit aer seng up the sensors.
You may not receive the signal immediately. The best recepon is oen during
the night due to atmospheric disturbances.
