Overview

This document outlines the features and operational guidelines for the BEAUTURAL Handheld Garment Steamer. It is designed for domestic use to remove wrinkles and creases from garments, curtains, and fabrics.

Function Description:

The BEAUTURAL Handheld Garment Steamer is a portable device used for steaming various fabrics. It operates by generating high-temperature steam to relax fabric fibers, thereby smoothing out wrinkles. The steamer is intended for use in an upright position on hanging garments, allowing for easy up and down motion over the fabric. It is also suitable for refreshing furniture upholstery, slip covers, and cushions. The device includes a steam activation button for single-time steaming and a lock button for continuous steam. An intelligent automatic power-off function ensures the device shuts off after approximately 8 minutes of inactivity, enhancing safety and energy efficiency.

Usage Features:

The steamer is straightforward to assemble and operate. Before first use, it is recommended to unwind and straighten the power cord, ensure proper assembly, and test the steamer on an unwanted piece of fabric to remove any production residues and odors, and to determine suitable temperatures.

To operate:

  1. Fill Water Tank: Press the Water Tank Release Button, pull out the water tank, open the inlet cover, and fill with tap or distilled water up to the MAXIMUM level. Ensure the tank is at least one-third full but not overfilled. Reinsert the water tank into the steamer.
  2. Attach Brush (Optional): Hold the steamer upright and attach either the fabric brush or lint brush to the steam head until an audible "click" confirms it's locked. The pointed side of the brush should face downward. To remove, lift the pointed tip.
  3. Power On: Connect the steamer to a power outlet and press the Power Button. The power indicator light will flash during heating and become solid when preheating is complete. Press the Power Button again to switch off.
  4. Steam Activation: Press the Steam Activation Button for a single burst of steam. To steam continuously, press the Steam Activation Button and then push down the lock button.
  5. Steaming Garments: Place the fabric in a dry, ventilated area, at least 20 cm (8 inches) from walls. Empty pockets and straighten turn-ups. Hang the garment and stretch it slightly with one hand. Place the fabric brush against the garment, pressing and holding the Steam Activation Button while moving your arm up and down, targeting creases. Release the button to stop. If steaming without the brush, maintain a distance of at least 5 cm (2 inches) between the steam head and the garment.
  6. Steaming Curtains: Wash and dry curtains, then steam them while they are hanging, stretching them with one hand to aid crease removal.
  7. Steaming Upholstery: Use the steamer to freshen upholstery, slip covers, and cushions. Always test on an inconspicuous area first. Move the steamer in an up and down motion over the fabric. Remove cushions and hold them upright for steaming, allowing them to dry thoroughly afterward. For delicate fabrics like silk, use the fabric brush attachment. For stubborn creases, removing the brush and continuous steaming may be more effective.
