Function Description
The pushchair serves as a versatile child transport system, accommodating a carrycot, a reversible seat unit, or a car seat. Its primary function is to provide a safe and comfortable ride for infants and toddlers, with features for easy maneuverability, braking, and folding. The chassis is designed for adaptability, allowing various Bebecar seat units and carrycots to be attached using the "easylock" system.
Important Technical Specifications
- Weight Capacity: Suitable for children from 0 months up to a maximum weight of 15kg.
- Mattress Thickness: Do not add a mattress thicker than 20 mm.
- Basket Load: If a shopping basket is supplied, the maximum permissible load is 5kg, evenly distributed.
- Safety Harness: Features a 5-point harness system, including a crotch strap and waist belt, to be used as soon as the child can sit unaided. Additional 'D' rings are provided on the seat lap strap and in the center of the carrycot for attaching a separate safety harness.
- Brake System: Foot-operated pedal brake on the rear wheels.
- Suspension System: Adjustable rear suspension with two positions: a softer setting for young infants (0-12 months) and a firmer, more comfortable setting for larger children (>13kg).

Usage Features
- Unfolding: To unfold, gently pull the handle and press down on the metal tube of the pushchair with your foot until the primary locks engage with a click. The secondary lock will automatically engage. Ensure the adjustable handle is aligned with the main handle. Always check the security of the pushchair by pulling on the handle and pushing the right and left molding.
- Steering/Non-Steering: Front wheels can be switched between swivel and fixed modes. Slide the lever (on both sides of the chassis) upwards for steering (swivel) mode. To lock the wheels in non-steering (fixed) mode, press the button, and the lever will slide downwards. Non-steering mode is recommended for rough terrain.
- Brake Operation: To apply the brake, press down on the pedal. To release, pull up the pedal.
- Suspension Adjustment: With brakes applied, use your foot to adjust the rear suspension. Release the suspension molding for a soft option for infants, or press down for a strong, comfortable setting for children over 13kg.
- Wheel Removal/Fitting:
- Rear Wheels: To remove, press the lever downwards and pull the wheel away from the axle housing. To fit, place the axle in the housing and press inwards until it latches.
- Front Wheels: Can only be removed/fitted if the steering button is in the upwards position. To remove, press the button and pull the wheel away from the front leg. To fit, press the button and push the wheel housing into the front leg until it locks.
- Handlebar Height Adjustment: Press both buttons simultaneously to raise or lower the handlebar to the desired height.
- Carrycot Attachment/Removal: Place the carrycot base on the chassis "easylock" device; it will automatically engage. Always check that the attachment devices are correctly engaged. To remove, push the button on the base of the carrycot and lift it away.
- Seat Unit Attachment/Removal: The seat unit can be forward or rear-facing. Place the seat on the chassis "easylock" device; it will automatically engage. Always check that the attachment devices are correctly engaged. To remove, push the buttons on both sides of the seat unit and lift it away.
- Car Seat Attachment/Removal: Place the car seat on the chassis "easylock" device; it will automatically engage. Always check that the attachment devices are correctly engaged. To remove, push the button on the back of the seat unit and lift it away.
- Folding: Before folding, lock the swivel wheels in non-steering mode. Ensure the adjustable handle is aligned with the main handle. Operate both safety devices by pulling the plastic tabs on the sides of the chassis. Tilt the pushchair forward and continue folding until the chassis is fully closed.
- Storage: Fold the adjustable handle as shown in the figure to minimize space.
- Basket Attachment: Pass the webbing and press-stud through the frame as shown, and attach the back edge of the basket around the rear cross member.
Maintenance Features
- Regular Checks: The vehicle requires regular maintenance by the user. Regularly check for wear, ensuring all locking devices, harnesses, adjustment points, and moving parts are secure and functioning correctly.
- Cleaning Wheels and Moving Parts: Wheels, swivel units, and other moving parts of the chassis should be kept free of accumulated dirt and regularly lubricated with an oil spray. Do not use silicone spray.
- Water Resistance: The pushchair is not waterproof. A Bebecar PVC raincover must be used in wet weather.
- Drying: After use in wet weather, ensure both the vehicle and PVC raincover/upholstery are thoroughly dried and aired before storage or further use.
- Cleaning Parts: Dry metal and plastic parts with a soft cloth. For washing instructions for fabric components, refer to the separate list provided by Bebecar.
- Heat Sources: Keep the product away from heat sources (open electric or gas fires, etc.).
- Accessories and Spare Parts: Only use accessories and replacement parts approved or supplied by Bebecar. Using non-approved items may be unsafe, damage the vehicle, or void the warranty.
- Overloading: Overloading, incorrect folding, or using non-approved accessories can damage or break the vehicle. The maximum permissible load for the shopping basket is 5kg, evenly distributed.
